7 Landmark Buildings Kloeckner Westok are Currently Working On

207 Old Street, London

Stretching over 320,000 square feet, this well-designed, modern and beautiful space is designed to be a landmark in the Old Street area. The Architects behind this building envisage the completed structure as a “centre of community that thrives on creativity and innovation”. The Tower (pictured) is due to be completed in the second quarter of 2018 and offers over 170,000 square feet of office space to complement the already finished ‘Studio’ and ‘Warehouse’ hubs of the complex. Westok has proudly provided optimum beam solutions in the form of its 122T Westok Plate Beams in this structure and we can’t wait to see the finished product!

Snow Hill Building 3, Birmingham

This strikingly modern building will form part of the third and final phase of Birmingham’s “Vision 2030”, which details two decades of redevelopment for the area. Office, leisure and conference spaces plus parking will all be created in the 17 level steel-framed office tower. Kloeckner Westok are excited to be contributing in the form of our 681T Westok Cellular Beams to one of the largest office projects outside of London, building on our proud history on site which features Westok beams on phases one & two also.

Eastbank, Manchester

Situated on a former car showroom and Manchester’s busy inner ring road on Great Ancoats Street, this spectacular building will become home to some lucky city residents. Building will comprise of one-hundred-and-eleven one, two and three-bedroom apartments with very handy ground floor parking included. As ever, Kloeckner Westok are pleased to keep UK cities growing and thriving by supplying our dependable 105T Westok Plate Beams.

Bupa’s plans to move its Salford Quays operation has resulted in one of the largest scale commercial property lettings in the city in years. Kloeckner Westok is very happy to be part of one of UK business’ most up-and-coming locations, MediaCityUK. Our 300T Westok Cellular Beams will help bring this structure to life by 2018.

In one of the capital’s biggest continuous construction schemes, the world-famous market is due for a 20-acre redevelopment including new homes, office space, shops, cafes, restaurants and community facilities. Kloeckner Westok are pleased to say that our 158T Cellular Beams will be used in some very innovative ways, in both permanent and temporary structures with some clever use of recycling planned as the structures develop.

2 Central Capital Square, Cardiff

This ambitious project in Cardiff city centre aims to create a people-friendly, easily accessible and safe area inspired by the rest of the city’s urban feel and scale. The structure will also aid the city’s rail connections with an easy link created between the main train station and the city centre. Kloeckner Westok are keen to be part of the transformation of Cardiff’s Central Square by providing 754T Westok Plate Beams for the development.

And finally, those of you familiar with the Leeds area may have seen this incredible structure taking shape recently. This office space is truly eye-catching and finished to a beautiful, high-quality standard that many an office-worker would be envious of! Kloeckner Westok’s 1050T Plate Beams have helped to complete this new and exciting city space right on the doorstep of our Leeds site.
