International Women’s Day: Key Takeaways from our Gender Pay Gap Report

  • Although we are clearly a male dominated workforce (only 12.6% female), we find that female employees are more likely to be in the higher paid quartiles, with 39% of women being in the highest paid quartile.
  • Kloeckner Metals UK pay gap is significantly lower than that for the whole economy.
  • The proportion of men who received a bonus in the year was 78.67% compared to a UK average the previous year of 35.72%
  • The Proportion of women who received a bonus in the year was 78.40% compared to a UK average the previous year of 34.39%
  • At minus 49.37% the average gender pay gap for bonus pay is considerably favourable of female employees.
