ASD metal services invited to the Queens Coronation Festival at Buckingham Palace
The Gardens of BUCKINGHAM PALACE were the venue for a unique event in July for holders of the Royal Warrant, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation. ASD metal services, a key member of the Klöckner & Co Group, were invited to attend the four day celebration between the 11th and 14th July 2013. The event celebrated innovation, excellence and showcased a broad range of companies from a mix of market sectors within Design & Technology.
We are proud to have earned the recognition of Royal Warrant Holder for supplying the Royal Household for over 30 years. Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition to individuals or companies who have supplied goods or services for at least five years to the Households of the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh or the Prince of Wales, warrants have always been regarded as hallmarks of quality, excellence and first class service. Included in the celebration and a key part of the exhibition stand at the event, was a one metre round steel sculpture commissioned by James Marsden (General Steels Director) from internationally acclaimed sculptor and ASD metal services customer Wolfgang Buttress. James remarked “This has been a wonderful opportunity to showcase our products and services to a wider audience and promote the Klöckner brand in such exclusive company”
