At Kloeckner Metals UK, we pride ourselves on going the extra mile whether this is when supplying the required products to a client or within the local community.
This Easter, we hosted an interactive Easter egg hunt on our website. This required entrants to find 5 of 10 Easter eggs hidden across our site, prompted by a series of clues. The winner had the chance to win one of our fantastic Kloeckner Metals UK portable speakers!
However, we wanted to go even further and give something back to a local charity as part of our Easter campaign. We wanted to give a donation and decided that for every entry to our interactive Easter egg hunt would unlock the value of an Easter egg hunt (£2) for charity.
The charity chosen by all of us at Kloeckner Metals UK, is the fantastic Martin House Children’s Hospice which is based in Boston Spa, Wetherby. They provide family led care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and support those families across North, East and West Yorkshire. The families are at the heart of everything they do and that is why Kloeckner chose to support this charity over the Easter period.
The interactive Easter egg hunt was a huge success and a total donation of £1000 was given from the Kloeckner Metals UK team!
On Wednesday 18th April, Barrie Salter, Business Development and Marketing Director, and Katja Pandza, Group Marketing Manager, visited Martin House Hospice on behalf of everyone at Kloeckner Metals UK. They met with Jason Costello, Corporate and Events Manager, and Emily Lynn, Corporate Fundraising Assistant, from Martin House Hospice to hand over the fantastic donation and learn more about the hospice.
We thoroughly enjoyed supporting Martin House Hospice and are looking forward to supporting them further in the future.
